After work on a Thursday night...

After work on a Thursday night I decided to give the Vu a try again. I've been there in the past and it used to be a good place. However, on this Thursday night it was not. I got a free admission from their website and bought the expensive bottomless soda. Once I made my way towards the stage I realized that this was not going to be a lot of fun. The place was empty except for a few day shift dancers and 4 other customers. The place is huge so it basically looked empty.

I sat down in the front section but not at the tip rail and watched the dancer on stage. Before she had finished two songs four girls had asked me if I wanted a lap dance. None of them were in a very good mood and didn't take my "no thank you" kindly. Since no one was at the tip rail I went up there for the next dancer and got a fairly good show for a few bucks.

The next song was a "two for one" dance with the blue lights going crazy. This means that you either get a lap dance or you sit and watch TV for a while because there are no dancers on stage when this happens. The problem is that the blue light songs are shorter than they are normally (yea, I timed them...sorry) so even though you think you're getting a great deal, it's not that great.
