In anticipation of farmerarts arrival sometime in September I had to make sure everything is as it should be at the 5. Still located in the lowest income area of all Canada but has ample parking and the street people really don't bother the patrons. During the afternoon there is no cover charge. They do scan your Drivers License. Food and alcohol at reasonable prices. Bar is at the back, stage is in the middle surrounded by tables and chairs. Flat screen tv's on the walls to watch whatever games are on. Not the newest of places but they keep it clean. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Two types of dancers stage and lap. The stage dancers normally just do that a set of 3 songs on stage and don't give lap dances. The lap dancers sit with the patrons and make grandoise promises of nirvana for $50 a dance. The lap dances are given upstairs in an attached building in semi private booths. They are usually pretty good two way contact but hardly worth $50 a dance. On this day the stage dancers were the usual 7-9 range. They always seem to have excellent stage dancers. Day shift though so that meant long waits 15-20 minutes between sets. There were only 2 floor-lap dancers when I got there and they were 7's. They were both friendly and sit and talk and have a drink even if you weren't buying dances. Another one showed up later. Still a good place to go have a beer watch a good stage show and if you don't go with the farmer not spend too much cash.
