So I was in Phoenix a week a half ago for a Thursday - Saturday weekend. I had planned out multiple club visits but I saved the last and best night, Saturday, for Christie's Cabaret. Based on the reads on TUSCL and other sites, it was the best for my particular tastes...that is, I am a man for a Gentlemen's club and not just a strip joint. I value comfort, style and environment almost as much, if not more, as mileage. Christie's seemed to be the best club for me.

For this club, I brought a friend who likes to spend but has very high standards. Naturally, we all want a wingman with $$$ and cooth and since my usual wingman was not on this trip, my friend was a good substitute. We arrived at the club and showed ourselves it at about 9:45 pm. The cover was like $7 or $8. I am fuzzy on that because my friend paid, but he gave a $20 and he got enough back to tip and pocket some cash. We walked in and I was immediately impressed.

A club that appreciates its layout and appearance is a marvel. Christie's was such a place. The outside was already impressive...large FRONT parking lot with the option for valet parking in front of the club. I never have a problem parking out back or valet parking in a place where it is really the only option but a large, front parking lot, like a supermarket, is a nice touch. The club was huge from the outside...2 stories easy and had just the right touch of neon and color to clearly state "Strip Club" without so much as to be tacky. The inside was even better....You walk in down a little hallway and the main stage immediately opens up in front of you. To the left is a lowered area with seating and a bar in the far wall. 2 tiny, single-dancer stages sit at either end of the lowered area. To the right, is the main stage...which is very large and has stairs leading up in the back. Behind the main stage is a bar. To the far right is another smaller, blocked out seating area. There is a second story that surrounds the entire club which is the VIP area. Two main staircases lead up, one by the door and one in the rear of the club. Between the lowered area and the main stage is a collection of tables and chairs just sitting in the middle of the club...obviously the prime seating. I found the layout to be well above average. It is a nice looking club.
