I didn't read much of the reviews but chose the place because it was convenient. I walked over from one of the Crystal City hotels and never felt in danger. Maybe I was naive, but it seemed to be a decent neighborhood and Highway 1 was right there, so there was traffic and activity so I felt relatively safe. I thought that if anything started to get weird, I'd scoot into any one of the hotel lobbies and get help from the bell hops.

The place was a few feet off of Highway 1 and easy to find, near National Airport. It looks for all the world like a mid-to-upper scale Italian place with table cloths and napkins. It just also has a stage and strippers. There was even the loud, fat, business dude with tie askew, having dancers and waitresses alike sitting with him. I don't think the toad got lucky that night, but, then again, neither did I. This may have been the oddest strip club I have been to in some time.

Each girl did a two-song set on stage, then did an awkward walk back to the secondary stage (which was actually toward the front of the place). While walking, she would try and touch your shoulder or elbow, linger and wait for you to give her a tip like you were a love-sick teen. I thanked several for their set and they scooted quickly away. I gave a few a dollar or two and they still scooted away. They then went into a glassed-in room around the bar and took the second stage. The dressing room must have been at the very front since they would appear from up there to start their set. The glassed-in area must have been an old cigar room or something.
