Was in town for a convention, and didn't like what I'd heard about the downtown clubs. Noticed that several well-reviewed clubs were pretty close to each other on Powell, a few miles SE of downtown, so decided to take a Safari. Yup, cheesy joke, but kinda accurate. The place is just a little shabby in decor and furniture. But there were other things that made up for it.

The dancers were generally young - under age 25 all around, as far as I could tell. Mostly skinny, but not heroin chic. Just "Girl Next Door" types, with about half the ladies inked and only a few enhanced. Over the course of 3 late nights on a Thursday through Saturday I probably spent a total of 4 hours here, mostly between 10pm and 1am. Always had at least 5 dancers in the rotation, and usually only about the same number of customers. Allowed for pleasant conversations since I was often the only semi-perv sitting stage-side.

Did private dances with two that struck my fancy, but they were not among the more memorable dances I had on this trip. Nothing bad, just a little friendly friction without the (pseudo)connection I found at other clubs with slightly older dancers. But that might just be my expectations being out of line with what these dancers were offering, and you may not be disappointed. One dancer offered to meet me for dinner outside the club, which sort of came out of nowhere, and I did not pursue the subject. She was very hot, but we had only been talking for like 30 seconds, so it was very weird.
