The Groton Gold Club is neither...

The Groton Gold Club is neither terrific or terrible. I've been about 6 or 7 times. I've never seen a 10 or even a 9 here, but i've also never seen a girl who wasn't cute enough for a good time. Drinks are reasonably priced, bartenders friendly, and girls are generally eager to spend time with the patrons. Every girl I've spoken to here has been good company.

Unfortunately, the dances tend to be huge teases. I always want more and never get enough. The girls seem to want to give more but actually follow CT contact laws. I've tried every kind of dance from topless to nude (nude is on separate side of club with no booze, separate cover and beverage requirement; lots of Red Bull and water). Songs seem short too. However I blame none of this on the girls, but more on by the book managers. One indulgent night last fall I spent hours with the same girl. We vibed real good, but still I stayed hard and throbbing, but not relieved. She was worried about getting caught.

The upside, I actually got to meet her away from the club and fix those problems. So like I said, girls are friendly, the management team seems to have them playing by the lame CT contact rules.

So like I said, not great, not terrible. Convenient location, friendly staff, spacious club, just not able to get the "full service" some clubs allow.

Great place to chill stage side. If management lengthened the leash on these girls and let them make their own decisions it could be booming. I've never seen it with more than 20 or so customers. Nude side also tends to stay open late since there is no liqour bar. Think I might head there now and see how the summer talent is.
