Ok, I HAD to post this...

Ok, I HAD to post this review after reading "Zambooka" review (who only has 1 post, and I find it a little unconvincing that their first review of a Detroit club would be this place). Now, this place may had been the way "he" describes a few years back...but NOW??? No...I just went last week...there are a few girls still worth tipping, but they don't get the types of chicks they used...I still sort of like as its one of Detroits last true hole-in-walls without the glitz of most black clubs in the city. However, the last few times I've been, there was definitely presure to buy drinks! The place doesn't get overly crowded anymore and there a big bouncer/manager looking dude who posts himself in the back corner by VIP observing every patron that walks in. The waitresses will ask you what ur having either as soon as you sit down or even if you don't sit...I even call myself trying to circumvent it by quickly grabbing a chick to dance in an attempt to not be bothered by drink pressure and dude had the waitress interupt my dance to get my drink order! Suffice it say, I left after paying girl what I owed, but I would've gotten a lot more from her as the vibe with her was right. Oh well, drink hustle is just hurting the girls...and the drinks are expensive depending on what ur having...not saying not to check the place out, but just know you've been warned. Hopefully, the mgmt dudes reads this and chills on that hustle...lol..
