This was my first time at...

This was my first time at this club. It's one of the closer ones nearby that I hadn't been to yet, so I decided to give it a shot, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's The visit was Saturday, July 21, 2012 and I was there from 11PM to 2AM (closing). The club is relatively easy to find. Once off the Rte 93 Hazleton exit off I-81, find Tomhicken Road and just drive. It's a nice, peaceful drive with no lights or stop signs. You do have to slow to 35 mph in one or two areas as you go through one or two small towns. The building is up a bit off the road, so I went right past is the first time.

The parking lot is non-descript, and you park on a slight hill. Some parts are dirt, some parts are paved. The outside of the building doesn't garner much attention either, so from the outside it seems like it will be an abysmal failure.

You go through two doors upon entry. This night, there was no one collecting money at the door, so I had to see the guy behind the counter to pay my $12 entry fee. It's a BYOB joint, and they charge $12 on the weekend, $10 other nights. The physical layout of the club is quite small, slightly larger than The Grandview. To the right are some table and chairs, a small bar area where the aforementioned guy hands out beer to those patrons that wanted their alcohol kept in a refrigerator, and a pool table in the back. The men's room and DJ booth are close to the pool table. Directly in center is a "T-shaped" dance area. I put that in quotes because the corners you see upon entry are rounded and the ones that are back to the rear of the club are square, which gives the impression it looks like a penis. To the left, back corner is a shower stage. It's super, super small and wasn't used this night. I'm surprised two dancers can fit on it as shown on the website! More chair and tables line the left side, and the women's rest room, VIP area and dancer dressing room are along the back, left wall.
