I checked out Silk on a Tuesday night. The cover was $5. I was a little worried when I was frisked by the bouncer at the door with a wand. The neighborhood didn’t seem great, but not bad either. Draft beers were half price on this particular night of the week, which brought them down to normal bar price from “strip club priceâ€. The club was not a total dive, but not as nice as Rick’s. It would be middle of the pack in Indianapolis as far as atmosphere. It is relatively small and all tables and chairs surround a two-pole stage in the middle of the main room. The washroom door was very narrow, leading to a poorly ventilated piss room. The music was a mix of hip hop and pop. The cougar bartender was very friendly and ended up being one of the few positives I found.
This particular evening, there were only five dancers and even fewer customers. All of the ladies were in the 1-5 range: two were black and three were white. At least one appeared to be on drugs and all appeared to be smokers. There did appear to be a sixth dancer coming in that looked like she’d trump the lot, but she never came out of the dressing room, so I was unable to confirm that talent above a 7 was available here. Half of the time the stage was empty. With the club slow, two-way contact appeared available even for a $10 dance. I am not sure how much better the $25 dance could have gotten. The VIP seemed to be very private with no one peeking in. My playdar would guess that ITC and OTC could both be available here. Overall, I don’t think I’d return because the quality of women was bad.
