Updating my review from 6 years ago, not much has changed. This is my go-to bar when the rest of the Block is dead. It's a comfortable, low pressure bar to hang out in. Slow drink a beer...watch the show...tip the dancers a buck when they come off the stage...buy a dancer a drink if you fancy them, or not. They have some decent music - meaning rock and roll, not rap - depending on the dancer's taste. The up close and personal private drink time sitting at the bar can vary, as usual, but with the right woman they can be well worth the money, even without buying a big drink. Extra curricular activity is also available. With the Block seeming seedier than ever, the Circus is an old reliable. Friendly bartenders and dancers, good air conditioning, as much action as you want...nothing glitzy for sure, but worth a look and a drink at the very least.
