I went to the Showcase Theater...

I went to the Showcase Theater early on a Friday evening. Although the doors were open at 7:00 as listed in the description, the owner told me they did not open for business until 8:00. He offered me a drink and said I could sit and wait. I declined and went to get something to eat.

As stated in other reviews, this place is easily missed. Even with my GPS I drove right past it. When you come to the stop sign at the hard right, the club parking is right around the corner. I parked in the fenced area next to the club. It is in an industrial area off the beaten path.

Like most clubs, there were only a couple of dancers right at opening. It started slow, but picked up as the night went on. I did witness a unique penalty for the dancers who show up late for their shift - the management makes then perform a strip tease in their street clothes. It was interesting to watch. There was a mix of dancers. Probably something for everyone. The dancers were also friendly and there was very little pressure for dances. It had a laid back atmosphere.
