My boys took me to Montreal...

My boys took me to Montreal for bachelor party weekend and Solid Gold was one of our last stops.

It's a bit out of the way if you're staying in the downtown core near St. Catherines, which we did.

We arrived sometime late in the evening and the place was pretty packed. The first thing we didn't like is that the guy told us that only the "VIP" group seating up front was available but that it would be $100 otherwise we'd have to wait. Naturally we told the guy he was crazy and that we'd like to see the manager.

Funny enough the manager came over and proceeded to seat us at the so-called VIP seating with no fuss.

There didn't seem to be a lot of dancers around or on stage but a steady flux of girls taking guys upstairs for dances. Other than the stage there is no dancing of any kind on the main floor.
