Christie's Cabaret in Canton was a pleasant surprise. Last Friday was my first visit, but I will definitely be back.

Surprise #1 is the location--across the street from the large upscale Westfield Belden Village Mall. A nice, safe neighborhood. Surprise #2, Christie's is a modern, attractive facility: similar in appearance to Christie's in Phoenix, the difference being the Canton club is much smaller. Comfortable chairs, good stage lighting, a high ceiling in the center of the room(with a very tall pole). Additional seating along the walls, including couches for lap dancing. There's a balcony area with VIP rooms, although I didn't check it out.

The dancers, bartender, and wait staff were all cute and freindly (call it surprise #3). Evening cover was $7.00, which was waived for me because I had an out-of-state ID and a room key from a local hotel. I arrived around 5:00, and business started to pick up around 7:00-8:00; the dancers remained laid back and freindly the entire time I was there. Overall, dancers were attractive (6-9) and very down-to-earth, willing to chat and have a drink without the hustle.
