I normally would never have thought...

I normally would never have thought to go to this club, but a couple of girls from Bourbon Street texted me they were going to be working here, and since it is a whole lot easier for me than going to the Quarter, I went over to see them. I had a lot of fun that night, so I went back the next Friday for a couple of beers. It was like a different club.

The club is right off one of the main roads in Metairie amidst several strip malls. There is not much other activity in the area at night, so it was easy to park. There were no ne're-do-wells hanging around.

The cover to get in the club is ten. Unlike Bourbon St. where simply turning around when they mention the cover gets it waived, there is no where else to go here, so you have to fork it over. The club is basically a neighborhood bar. The ceiling is low and a bar runs along the back wall. There is seating at the bar, but it was mostly full both nights I was there. There are three or four very small squares raised a couple of inches with a pole coming out of each running parallel to the bar. The main stage is in the center of the room opposite the bar. It is almost a pit with a foot wall running around the edges with seating all the way around. On one side of the stage is a small VIP area with some couches. The remainder of the area has low chairs and tables. They were quite comfortable.
