I've reviewed the coliseum before and others have described the layout. I went a few weeks ago and from what I've heard it's been painted and some other minor renovations have been made since my visit(new carpet, repaved parking lot,etc.). The club is very large with a front bar and a back bar, you can smoke at the back bar. Big stage in the center with 4 small stages (more like platforms with poles than actual stages) around the perimeter by the booths. I went on a Friday afternoon around 5 pm and was not expecting to be bothered by shot girls, I was wrong. $3 for domestic bottles, so I can't complain too much about paying $5-$6 for a few shots.

Day shift talent was definitely lacking as the guy who owns Penthouse acquired Coliseum in May / June and the day manager left to go to Players down the road and took most of the dancers, bartenders, and waitstaff with him. I did meet a cute, short, natural late 30s brunette who you'd never guess was any older than early 30s. She had her hair in pigtails and the first thing I thought of was "handlebars"! Chatted for a while when she asked if I wanted a dance, I was not in the mood to play nice guy so I asked how much fun she was. She replied by asking how much fun I wanted to have and I told her the "medium amount of fun, uncovered". She shot for $2 but I talked her down to $1.5, probably could've done better but I had the cash. Had fun, she did the job and didn't rush but no lip service. Probably won't go back to Coliseum until they have a chance to replenish day shift, also worried that the new ownership will increase prices.
