Stopped by just before 7 p.m....

Stopped by just before 7 p.m. on a Friday after first making a stop at P10, as I was staying only a short distance away and wanted to visit the famous Yellow Rose. I was glad to have made the stop, even though YR does not match P10 IMO. The place is small, and there is no real privacy to be had. You can rent a small, recessed seating area for $100 and hour to give you a little more privacy, which I did because I only had a short amount of time and didn't want to take the time to test the waters. The answer to that question is that mileage is pretty much the same as on the floor, so save the $100 unless you have identified a dancer that you want away from the crowd or just don't like stray dudes plopping down at the table next to you just to watch (bothers me, thus worth the $$).

As I said, the place is small, but the quality in the club comes from the operation and the quality of the people there. The valet (free plus any tip you offer) was cool, the manager I spoke to (Chris) was very courteous and professional, and the dancer's were the right mix of hot, fun and laid back. Got laps from three dancers, all good in different ways. First dancer was a blonde with a beautiful face and great legs who, after introducing herself asked me to join her in the outdoor smoking area while she had a cigarette and ate a cupcake. A first, but quirky and cute. Nice dance, with lots of grind, and very personable. The second dancer was a smoking hot brunette who gave a great dance, and I would have spent more time with her but she was called up on stage. I finished the short visit with a long legged, athletic looking blonde who also gave a very good dance, although she couldn't quite match the brunette. All in all, a very solid club, and I will visit again the next time I find myself in Austin.
