I hadn't been to the Paramount...

I hadn't been to the Paramount in a couple of years, in spite of living about 5 minutes away. It used to be the only club in the Vancouver area that had private dances and they were all air. Since then most of the clubs around here have introduced their own VIP areas that are also all air, but at least they serve alcohol and the dancers are of generally higher quality than I remembered at the P. But I had a few drinks with dinner, won a few bucks at the casino and figured I'd give the P another try. I'm glad I did.

Now, I'd be lying if I said the place was on par with the better clubs in Las Vegas or Montreal (the limit of my experiences), but it's a helluva lot better than it used to be. About 20 dancers, mostly natural and almost all white, but good variety of types and every one looked like she was in the right business, ranging from 6-9 (P used to have a few in the 3-4 range). Dances are $25 on the floor and 5 for $100 upstairs. Being 3/8ths Scottish I opted to head upstairs with Takiesha, the only Asian dancer in the joint, and it was a C-note well spent. Kept my hands by my sides like a good boy and she kept up the grinding, pressing and teasing. Mandy & Candy were up there with customers of their own and the occasional peek showed that Takiesha's dances were the rule, not the exception they would have been last time I was there. I'm still saving my pennies for my next trip to Vegas, but it sure won't be another couple of years before I go back to the Paramount.
