I have been to The Lodge...

I have been to The Lodge many times over the years. This is one of my favorite clubs in the metroplex for a night out. The managers of the club run a tight ship, so this isn't the place for extras. If you are a fairly regular customer and a good tiper you may make friends OTC. The decor can look a little strange, but it grows on you. Now the food is one of The Lodge's best assets in IMO. This is the only club I have been to in DFW that I would eat at. It's not the best resteraunt around, but the view is the key after all. All in all, this club is a must if you are a local or a business traveler looking for a night out without running into thugs and low class club crawlers. I have had several friends that waitressed at The Lodge and I would definitely recommend trying to familiarize yourself with the staff. The dancers are much more friendly when they know you have a waitress' seal of approval. I have had seats saved for me on busy nights, complimentary desserts with dinner, and invitations to parties OTC due to my associations with staff. The only real cost was buying an overpriced bottle of bubbly every once in a while.
