In town for a conference and had some free time to visit HD. The metal detector was a first for me, but it is Texas after all. Overall the experience was just ok. The outside of the club was shabby, and inside was a bit dingy. Had a couple of beers for $5 each and approached by a couple of older girls, well at least they looked older, before getting a dance from a pretty tight little Latina number. She made the visit worthwhile but not spectacular. Nice chit chat, she practiced her English I practiced my Spanish. Only stayed for a couple of hours before heading up the street to St. James. HD will do in a pinch, but there are better clubs to be had. Didn't risk the food, but I'd go back . . . In a pinch if I happen to be in the area and the St James parking lot is full.
