The Jacksonville Gold Club serves alcohol and therefore is officially classified as a 'bikini bar', but the strippers do go topless and really the difference can become as much semantics as anything.

Gold Club offers probably the hottest strippers in Jacksonville, along with a fairly friendly and comfortable vibe. This is certainly not a dive, but also does not come with some of the pretense, pressure and expense associated with so many of the top end strip joints today. I stopped in here on a Monday evening while I was in town for business and paid the $7 cover to get in. I travel to Jacksonville maybe once a quarter, so I have been to a fair few of the strip joints in the area. There were maybe seven dancers there, which I thought was a decent amount for a weeknight, especially with it not being terribly late. I had a chance to hang out at the bar for a bit and have a drink, which ran me about $3.50 for a beer. Eventually I had a few of the dancers come by and chat for a bit, and ended up getting a few dances from one cute, young brunette whose name I can't quite place at the moment. Nothing terribly crazy, but the girl definitely knew what she was doing, and there was plenty of contact, so I can't really complain. All in all, a comfortable, friendly place with good looking girls, so there's not much more one could ask for.

Definitely, the Jacksonville Gold Club is among my favorite strip joints in Jacksonville.
