I had a day off work...

I had a day off work so I decided to check out the midday shift at XTC Cabaret in Austin. I had never been before but I had heard from other reviews that it could be a lot of fun. I drove by once just to see the look and layout, it seemed more shady than any club I had been to up in Dallas so I was a bit iffy to try it out but I parked, paid the valet guy $5, and went inside. The cover was $15 with an offer to buy a VIP wristband for another $15, which I took advantage of. There is a metal detector when you first walk in the door to your right, you walk through in then pay the person at the desk. The VIP section entrance is behind you with the main stage off to your right.

There was three other dudes in the main area when I entered the club. I went and sat in the general area first to get a feel for the dancers and to check the place out. As I sat down one dancer was just finishing up her set and walked off to the bar opposite the stage. There were only 6 or so dancers working, 4 in the main area with two in the VIP section. 10 minutes after I had sat down in the general area, a 30ish dancer (I would say about a 7 out of 10) walked up to me wearing only a thong. She sat on my lap, was incredibly friendly, and started asking me how my day was so far. Once she noticed my VIP wristband she grabbed my hand and led me back to VIP. She asked if I was interested in the best dance of my life and I told her I was - 4 dances later I was a happy man. Her rules, as she said, were "anything goes", and from what I hear, this is common in the VIP area.

The dancers here aren't the hottest on the planet but they are fun! I would suggest getting a regular dance out in the common area before heading to VIP area to be sure you want to spend more $$$ on a VIP dance with her. The VIP area is worth it, definitely take advantage. Shady club? Yes, I will never go at night. BUT, the day-shift dancers are amazing.
