Dropped by Godivas to see a...

Dropped by Godivas to see a dancer friend who was suspended from another club for "comments" about a manager there. She has now worked past her suspension and able to go back to her old club, but says that she is doing "better" at Godivas.

Anyhow, I paid the $5 door fee and grabbed a cold beer ($3.25--house liquor about $4 per drink--plastic cups though) at the bar. Casey (sp?) the bartender (thick girl but cute) was working and is normally smiling and very friendly to me. She will even come around the bar and give you a hug once she gets to know you.

The club is still dirty, run down, and really needs some renovations. Several of the girls have said that the owner has interests in other clubs and is not really motivated into putting $$$ into the place right now. If I had the money, I would love to buy this place and give it makeover. It used to be very busy in this club some years back...they had the non-alcohol total nude side on the left and the alcohol topless side on the right. In those days, it was not unusual to have to stand in line to get inside. It is a big building, but they are only using the former topless side nowadays.
