The famed Mons Venus. I had to go while I was in Tampa, luckily my hotel was just a few miles away. I eyed the other club across the way but I figured since it was a slower night, there might be more action at the Mons Venus.

I go in and pay the exorbitant cover and take a seat in the middle of the room. The layout is quite simple, couches along the perimeter of the room, a center small stage, and some high tables in between. Soft drinks are reasonably priced for the place. There were a handful of patrons around for a relatively early hour. The talent was great. At least a couple 8s walking around, bunch of 7s, and the lowest was a 6. I ended up getting a few dances in the wide range.

Hands roamed free, perfectly. Skill varied from dancer to dancer but I think what makes for the best is the effect of mirrors. Watching the hard bodies twist and sway. There is a slight dance hustle but it is subtle and I guess you have to be willing to say no if there is something you don't like. I got suckered for one mediocre dance but had few regrets. This is the kind of place you want to be if you don't want to be sat with and like a carousel of dancers. You can easily drop a couple hundred in an hour.
