I returned to Platinum 84 on...

I returned to Platinum 84 on a Saturday while back in Denver. For a club description and price breakdown, see my May 3rd review. The clientele was similar to my previous visits: lots of white guys trying to be “hood”. They say they have a dress code, but any Affiction-wearing faggot gets in the door. This particular visit was mostly disappointing. I was overcharged on a shot by my waitress. She charged me $10 for a crappy excuse of a shot that should have cost $8. Yes, I realize it was two bucks, but I don’t like being deceived because some cunt wants to pad her pocket. Avoid the petite brunette waitress that is about five foot flat without heels (I should have gotten her name). It is easy to do because this place is always overstaffed with servers. One nice feature of the club is sometimes the music videos for the songs being played in the club are displayed on a projector screen.

The quality of dancers fell off a cliff. I did not find a single dancer attractive until shift change occurred. The day shift was either too old for my taste or too “beat up” from recent childbirth. A few better looking girls came in as the day turned to night, but definitely not a Penthouse-caliber lineup. I chatted with a dancer, and she complained how the crowds have been bad, even on weekends, and how the guys that do come in just drink or play pool. The word on the street is also that management is fucking a number of the dancers. I was rather amused by the antics of Platinum 84’s “big spenders”. There were guys that would come up to the stage and tip a Jackson, along with telling the dancer they would buy a drink for her. When the dancer would get off stage, the “high roller” would buy the drink and either a single lap dance. Another seemed to just want a dancer to sit at his table for as long as possible for a drink. Platinum 84 is down trending and scratched from my go-to list in the Mile High.
