When the local rules are as restrictive as they’ve become in Louisville, it’s interesting to see how some of the less “polished” establishments enforce (or ignore) those limits.

Foxy Lady is one of several clubs in the same general area of Louisville, more industrial and somewhat sketchy compared to PT’s downtown locale, but generally seemed safe and secure enough if you follow the same routine precautions you should in any urban area after dark. Parking is somewhat limited, but at least on the night I visited that wasn’t an issue.

In fact, when I first walked in despite there being several cars in the lot up front I seemed to be the only customer in the place. Ordinarily this would’ve given me pause about entering, but as I paid my cover the girl working the door assured me there were “15 girls” on duty. Since I’d chosen this location based in part on positive reviews from others, I decided to gamble the price of admission and see how a slow night in a shadier venue treated an out-of-towner.
