It's come a ways up. Used to be a real dive -- which they could afford, since there aren't a lot of alternatives in Bakersfield that aren't on four hooves. But on my recent pass through town I found the club to be clean and felt like someone cared, though the new private booths are for munchkins. New stage, which is huge. It all boils down to the talent, and I had some nice laps with Honey. Not many other girls to choose from, but I just stuck with one, it was daytime, you expect fewer choices. And hey, at $10 a pop too, lucky Monday for me, some promotion or other. So though it doesn't make me want to drive from SoCal just for the experience, if you're driving through and get the urge, it'll take care of you, ya know?
