Lone Star Cabaret has been renamed...

Lone Star Cabaret has been renamed Lucky's Cabaret and refurbished by the new owner. It is about 10 miles Northeast of Downtown Fort Worth, a mile or so outside the Interstate 820 loop. If you are coming from Fort Worth along Jacksboro Hwy, the club is on the left. Be sure to go right across the inbound lanes and turn left onto the service road. You can't access the club from Jacksboro Hwy heading towards Downtown.

Cover was $20 when I arrived at around 7:00pm on a Thursday evening. The club has relatively upscale décor inside. It is BYOB with a juice bar at the back. The few customers that I saw were mostly redneck and a couple of them were smoking.

There is a main stage at the front of the club with two poles and a smaller stage in the middle of the club. The dancers were rotating on the main stage, dancing two at a time side-by-side. The small stage was not being used. Some got topless, while some didn't strip at all. The quality of the dancers were in the 6-8 range, with the exception of one woman who must have been in her late 40s and was probably only a 2 when she was in her 20s. It was actually pretty disturbing when she got topless. A couple of the other girls could have used a visit to an orthodontist. There were about 6 dancers in all, mostly white (one Hispanic).
