I haven't been back to the Penthouse Club in a while and I had high expectations when I stepped in the club last night. The dancers for the most part are new but definitely some familiar faces here and there. Drinks are still absurdly expensive but we're not really here to drink are we? I went to the upstairs bar to get a better view of the place and check out who's on shift. This blonde eastern European girl approached me pretty quickly and started making small talk. Seem to suggest more so we decided to go for a couch dance. For the first song, she proceeded to "air dance" around me. Her words (when I tried to put my hands around her waist to get her closer) was "don't rush it baby, take it slow". Needless to say I wasn't amused and didn't go any further than the one dance. Sipped on my drink and had a few other dancers stop by but none were my taste. Then finally this thin brunette (sorry I'm horrible with remember names!) caught my eyes and we went back for dance. Lots of roaming and action but halfway through the second dance, one of the bouncer stuck his head in and said "you need to keep the curtains some what open". Long story short, it seems like this place isn't what it used to be. Then again, maybe I was just unlucky. YMMV. At least the dancers are still pretty attractive.
