I was bored tonight and decided to cruise around town and check out some clubs I hadn't been to before. I ended up at Temptations, a topless go-go place on OBT. Overall I had a good time. The place was very laid back, the dancers and staff were nice and not pushy, and I was able to just watch the stage show for a while without feeling pressured to buy a table dance (all air, as is standard in Orlando). Here's what loses points for me: 1) Any club in Orlando is going to lose a point automatically for the no-nude and pasties policy. Not the club's fault, but it does detract. 2) The place is kind of small and *reeks* of smoke. I felt nasty when I left and took a shower as soon as I got home. 3) An ugly-ass fat hooker who looked to be in her 40's and with rotten teeth somehow got past the bouncer and tried to pick up guys in the club. That was annoying, and they finally got her out of there, but I'm thinking that might be a common problem, given the seediness of the area. 4) Air dances always will drop a club a point for me. I know I should be going to clubs in Tampa instead, and that's what I plan to do this weekend. Temptations isn't a bad place if you just want to hang out and look at some almost-naked girls. A redheaded dancer sat with me for a while, and there was a knockout tall brunette I wanted to call over but didn't get a chance to.
