I visited Mario's tonight after seeing the ratings compared to other clubs in the area. It's an hour away from Boston, but the trip is worth it! It's pretty easy to find off I-395. The club is on the small side and gets cramped at peak hours. There's a bar, a single large U-shaped stage with lots of seating, and then a tabled area with one pool table. It's clean enough, if unremarkable. Drinks cost about $6 for you and $9 for a dancer. Music is loud enough that it can be hard to hear (but then it seems unfair to complain about a reason to get really close to the dancers). Bouncers are great (very unobtrusive).
The dancers are about my favorite I've seen anywhere. Appearance-wise, they're only average (few stunners, but pretty much all of them are at least OK). But everything else you can say about them is outstanding... they're all very friendly, and not overly pushy (there's a steady stream of lap dance offers, but are pleasant about taking "no" for an answer). Lap dances are pricier than I'd like at $30 a song, but VERY enjoyable. I don't want to get anybody in trouble by giving names or details, so let's just say that the two-way contact is easily better than anywhere else I've been. I gather the champagne room costs something like $150 but didn't try it.
Overall I'd be happy to go back (and will try to, as wallet and schedule allow), mostly because of the top notch private dances.
