This club is now called Headlights...

This club is now called Headlights Gold, an upscale version of the sister JBs/Headlights down the road in Chesapeake. This was my first time in the club since the renovation/ownership change. I arrived at about 5 pm after spending a couple of hours at JBs/Headlights. Plenty of parking, the lot was nearly empty. Two entrances, one labeled "VIP" and one labeled "Lounge". I believe they both led into the same lobby area which had metal detectors and a cover collection station (unmanned at this time of day). I went into the lounge area to the right. The layout: average sized bar at one end of a nice looking large room. Some tables with chairs. A couple of pool tables. And a large T-shaped stage with 3 poles. Two T.V.s, one with the news and one on sports. Clean, new restroom. Four guys sitting at the bar including me. Bartender was a middle-aged lady, friendly enough. Bottle of beer cost me $3.25. Also available was a full liquor selection and what looked to be an extensive food menu. One dancer, maybe a 5, sitting at the bar. Soon a second dancer came walking in wearing an evening gown type of dress, very clingy. She approached every guy and asked if they wanted a private dance. All turned her down. I found out later her name was Michelle when she took a seat next to me. She promised a lot of fun in the back, quoting me $30 a dance. That sent alarms off as other reviews stated $25, but not sure that was since the ownership change. She was pretty enough: long black hair, very pretty face, nice rack but I never got a good look below that. I almost took her back just to check out the entire scene, but decided to pass. Kind of regret it now sitting here typing this review. Just as I was leaving a petite black dancer came in and sat at the bar. I'd heard this place starts up at about 5, but by 6 it had yet to start up. Still, I liked the atmosphere and it sure has potential. I'll be back on hopefully a better day and time.
