I made my first visit to...

I made my first visit to Mustangs in almost a year on the fourth of July. When I arrived I figured the place must have been closed for the evening; there were four cars in the lot, and one was leaving. But as I walked up to the door the sound of music and the great smell of stripper sweat and perfume greeted me. I walked in to find 7 dancers, a bartender, the owner, one bouncer, and one customer.

I grabbed a beer and sat as an extremely cute and petite woman took the stage. I went up to tip, mesmerized, and was treated to a couple of wonderful things that don't normally happen at Mustangs. I returned to the stage a song later to tip again, and again had a great experience. I told her I wanted a dance when she finished.

When her set was over, she came and sat next to me. I soon realized that the only way to communicate with her was in Spanish, as she speaks only a few words of English. While my spanish is very limited, it was sufficient to carry on a 20-minute conversation. Then off to the wall we went.
