I have had a life time...

I have had a life time membership card for the Platinum Plus chain for about 10 years. It was issued at the infamous and now closed Memphis Platinum Plus. I have visited 4 of the 5 clubs currently in operation. All of these clubs operate basically the same. They all open at 1100AM except 4PM on Sundays. The cover charge is relatively cheap and parking is free. Drink prices are reasonable for a strip club. The music is always too loud and the DJs are usually obnoxious. Especially at night. The owner, Ken Wood got his start as a DJ & dick dancer. He thinks he is creating a Party atmosphere. Although smoking is prohibited by law it goes on in all his clubs. His philosophy is "Fuck it". The customers want to smoke when they drink so we'll pay the fine. Dancers set their own scheduals and pay a house fee to work there. They also set their own dance prices, although the clubs policy is for them to charge a minumum of $20/dance. Dances are done in semi private couch rooms. Mileage varies from dancer to dancer. Mileage increases when you spend more money and they get to know you better. Obviously regulars rule. They have paid their dues. The other dance option is the Champagne Room. These proivide more privacy but it is for guys that have more money than brains. Your are looking at $300/house for an hour plus what ever the dancer/s charge. That can run $300-500/hr. My advice is to stay outta the CR. Chances are you will not get any more mileage than you would have had in the semi private dance rooms.

Now when it comes to Columbia SC there are two clubs. Platinum Plus and its sister club Heartbreakers. They are a one two punch. The other 5 clubs in Columbia are basically black ghetto clubs that do not even open until night. PP is usually considered to be their premier club and HB as the back up. Some times the dancers at PP get kicked back to the minor league for being too fat or breaking house rules. But not always the case. I've seen some dancers at PP that shouldn't be dancing at any club and I have seen some dancers at HB that are better looking than most of the girls at PP. I do think that the non regular has a better shot at HB as it seems that most of the PP girls have regulars that take up most of their time. I also think that you can get better dance prices at HB. In either club just remember prices are negoatible. The standard asking price seems to be $30 for 1 or 2 for $40. I have never had a problem getting 2 for $30 and you do NOT have to wait for an annouced 2 for 1 special. You can get them any time of day or night. I even manage to get 2 for $20 from a few dancers that know me well and appreciate my repeat business.

I was just in Columbia Thu-Sat and visted both clubs several times each. My buddy rob0411 joined me at PP on Thu afternoon. He was so disgusted with the pickins that he left and went to HB to try his luck there. I did stay around longer and late went to HB myself. I spent about 3/5 of my time at PP and the other 2/5 at HB. I had a better time at HB. In 3 days I had 3 happy endings at HB and none at PP. Next time it could be the the other way around. My advice is to try one or the other and if things are not going your way, give the other club a shot.
