My first visit to this club...

My first visit to this club was on a friday around 7pm. My female friend and I were out celebrating our new jobs and have been to other strip clubs before, Sin City in the BX and Perfections in QNS, but heard about this specific c[;ace and its great reviews online, so we decided to check it out and see if the quality of dancers was up to par.

I bought a drink for myself and my friend, a corona and a red-bull & vodka, totaling 20 dollars. We tipped the bartender and asked her to break 80 dollars into singles for us. I still had not gotten to take my first sip of beer when I see a dancer make her round across the bar and practically stick our her hands for a dollar. Mind you, not even in a cute way, just an odd non-friendly smile. Now I'm not cheap, so I decide to hand her a dollar, but within the next 2 minutes, the same scenario is repeated with 4-5 other girls.

I finally drink some of my beer, and start enjoying the view. There was another batch of girls on the stage, dancing, but unlike the other clubs I've been to before, they barely, if ever, make eye contact with anyone and just dance while look straight up or towards the walls. About two songs finished, and then they were down to make their round across the bar too. That's when I noticed that to make up for the good $20 dollar lap-dances (which are $30 at perfections), they have developed this odd atmosphere, atleast for my friend and I, that makes patrons feel pressured into letting go of their singles at an incredibly fast rate while most of the dancers expect to go up, move a bit to a song and collect money without even showing enthusiasm or being nice to customers.
