Stopped by the Diamond Club for...

Stopped by the Diamond Club for the first time in several months this past week. I found the club to be physically the same as last. No cover before 7pm and free parking. The cool temperature of the club was a welcome relief from the scalding Atlanta heat outside. The bar was well tended and stocked. I had a drink within two minutes of entering. Kudos to the bar staff! The DJ plays a mix of R/R and current dance hits but the music was very loud. The club is fairly bright and easy to move around in. One large main stage to the right as you enter and a smaller satellite stage in the back left that was not used during my visit. The club is right of I-75 and easy to find.

There were 7 dancers of mixed races ranging from 5-8 on the TUSCL scale. The one 8 had a regular customer that she spent most of her time with-when she was not in the dressing room. The others girls were friendly enough and the VIP hustle began pretty quickly. This club has some of the most private rooms in Atlanta and go for 15, 30 and 1 hour rates starting at $45 and up plus the dancer fee. I had a couple of $10 table dances from a cute little brunette( a 7) that were mostly Atlanta air with just some light grinding. She really didn't seem to be into her work very much and her sales pitch for the VIP was unconvincing. Tried another dance with a blond that danced slightly better than the first dancer but she still was not up to par with some dancers I have enjoyed in the past. She asked for $200 for a 30 minute VIP. I didn't decide to partake of the VIP this trip.

This club was once the best in Atlanta but seems to have become stagnate. The girls just don't seem to be willing to "put out" like in the past. They hover around the afternoon regulars and spend a lot of time in the back. I don't know if there are new rules or a new manager/owner but the club just doesn't have the appeal it once did. I'll give it a try again in a few weeks when I next travel to Atlanta.
