My ATF and I are visiting...

My ATF and I are visiting Tampa and decide to hit a few clubs one Saturday night together.  It’s quite interesting visiting clubs with a stripper as you occasionally get observations/experiences which are…shall we say…different.  We wound up hitting 3 Tampa clubs this night, all after 9 pm.  The sequence was dictated by taking in 2 alcohol-serving clubs sandwiched around a soda club. Thus, we went to The Penthouse Club, Mons Venus, and Thee Dollhouse in that order.  All 3 clubs will be reviewed.

When we arrived at Penthouse, it presents itself much like the Penthouses around the country, namely, glitzy with all the frills, valet parking, and unfortunately, fewer but probably richer clientele. After we pay the $10 cover (women were free that night), we walk in and notice only a few customers and 2 other couples. Obviously, this is a club where guys take their dates to impress. We sit down and the waitress tells us that Grey Goose vodka drinks are 2-4-1 all night. My ATF hits that special hard. She asks the waitress where all the people are, and the waitress is ready with her answer. The waitress says it’ll pick up later but Penthouse prefers to cater to a certain type of customers instead. Oh.

We seem to be the only ones tipping the girls onstage. Of course, I’m constantly entertained with commentary from my ATF about the girls at Penthouse having to dance 3-4 songs per set (brutal) and that many of them apparently don’t even make an effort to work the pole. It gets boring with the girls dancing such long sets and with so few people, so we leave without getting any dances.  However, I did get some sly looks from a dancer named Riley – wondered if she was interested in a 3-some? In general, the girls were above average with a few stunners.
