I figured as my first review...

I figured as my first review on this site, I would give a shout out to a club that kept me coming back over the years, and has wound up being the bar for most strip clubs since, in my opinion. I've been to nicer places. I've been to places with girls that were consistently hotter. I've been to places that were of better value. But somehow Vixens strikes a perfect balance between all of the above and it's eaten thousands of my dollars.

I think the primary reason for coming back to Vixens is a sense that everyone there is having a good time. Don't misunderstand, there are certainly girls that are having bad days occasionally, but that's to be expected at any job. But the fact that the girls don't feel compelled to hide it, and don't lambast you with fake, sutured on smiles is probably the most endearing quality here. Many of the girls travel down from Baltimore because of the atmosphere here. My wife was firmly against strip clubs as she believed they were seething dens of inequity and exploited women until we finally dragged her to Vixens. Now, a few years later, she is looking for clubs in the new area we moved to and ready to dance herself.

The atmosphere is unremarkable; overly black lit, casino style carpeting, too many strobe lights. Just very typical of middle of the road clubs. The food is mediocre at best, and it features an aboveground and belowground half to the club; the girls just rotate from one to the other. The location is convenient, and it's generally the first club name on people's lips due to the very "real" nature of the place. They also get folks like Chyna and Ron Jeremy and Bridget the Midget coming to down every month or so and that can be a real riot depending on the crowd, which is very, very mixed. Bikers, college kids, couples, women; the crowd is very diverse and compliments the setting nicely, in my opinion. I've met tons of interesting people there due to the variety. See a fella in a business suit, go talk to him and see what he's about. That simple. Interesting, open atmosphere that is contagious.
