The moral of this story is "Never go to a strip club on a rainy afternoon." A few weeks ago, I did. It was pouring, I was in the neighborhood with nothing to do. I said "Why not?" I found out. The place was nearly empty with a very gloomy mood. All the ladies pounced on me when I walked in and when I said "Not now," they turned hostile. Can't they understand that some of us would like to wait until our eyes adjust and we get the lay of the land before we disappear into a booth with a lady? As usual for the modern day strip club, there were too many tattoos and piercings for me, but the big turn-off was the mood. The place seemed dark and cold and the dancers looked like they didn't want to be there. Got one private dance from a lady who was offering bargains just to prolong the session since there was no one else out there likely to buy dances. The whole thing was pretty depressing.
