I went to Rick's on a Friday evening, a time I usually avoid, but I hadn't been in on the weekend for quite a while. As long as you get there by about 7pm, parking isn't a problem and you can get a decent seat. I stayed for about 3-4 hours and during that time there were upwards of 35 dancers. Usually most of them come in in the early evening at the shift change, but this time they just kept showing up. There were even new ones showing up when I left at about 11pm. Overall, the quality was in the 6-8 range with a few 9's or 9+'s. I stayed as long as I did because there was no particular dancer who really caught my attention. However, when I was almost ready to leave, one of the late arrivals went on stage and she fit my personal criteria. I hooked up with her as soon as she finished her first stage set. I tried to bargain her down a little from the $30 a dance that seems standard in the VIP area despite the announced $20 figure. She wouldn't bargain, but was very sweet about it. It took me about 10 seconds into her first dance to decide that $30 was a good deal with this honey! I had a couple of dances and it worked out just fine. And she hung around to talk for a while after. I'm not giving her name because I don't think it's fair to identify the dancers who deliver...too easy for them to get targeted. I know from some of the other reviews that it can be hit-or-miss at Rick's, but this is the 4th straight time in a row that I've struck gold at Rick's based on instincts.
