Work took us to the area...

Work took us to the area of the Phoenix Christie's on a Friday afternoon so I and two buddies stopped in just to see what it was like. The first thing was adjusting to the dark after the Phoenix sunlight was seriously hard; couldn't see a thing for like 10 minutes. Once I could see, the club is large, very nice, kinda ritzy compared to the few I've been to on the east coast. At that time of the day, there were only a few customers kicking back.

There was somewhat of a mixture of dancers but most were White (one Asian, one or two Latina, one Black). Most were very pretty. Some danced conservatively, some with a lot of flair (one girl climbed to the very top of the pole and slid down with her legs spread in the air such that we thought she was going to crash to the bottom, but she knew what she was doing).

One of my buddies tipped one of the dancers and she came to him after she was done, sat on his lap, said her name was Kitty and they chatted. Pretty soon a brown cutie came up to me, said her name was Lena and asked if I wanted a dance. Since we just came in on impulse I didn't have dance-type cash on me ($10 for table, $20 for upstairs balcony) and told her so, but she sat down on my lap and said we could just talk (earlier, a girl came up to us and asked if any of us wanted a dance and when we didn't say yes, she quickly walked on). We had a nice conversation about a little bit of everything and neither she nor I was in any hurry to go, but we guys had to move on with our day. We said our goodbyes and looked forward to going back.
