After a quick 5 dollar cover, a thick dark curtain is pulled back to reveal a smallish club right out of the final 30 minutes of Boogie Nights. If Alfred Molina isn't in the back room with his firecracker-chucking manservant, then my name isn't Jonny Lipstik. Adorned with enough mirrors and lights of both the neon and ultraviolet variety to make you feel like a background character in an episode of Miami Vice, this club makes up for its small size with personality. I've seen a shirtless, legally miniature patron get in a fight with security, I've seen a dancer with autism look past her customers with dead eyes, and I've seen a man wearing more fur than 10 polar bears give my friend advice on how to slap a dancer's bottom.
The drinks are moderately-priced, about the same as you would find in most bars in Milwaukee. The women are friendly, and most can hold a delightful conversation when they aren't on stage or enticing you toward the private room beyond velvet curtains. The girls are mostly slim and/or fit (though a few have some lovely curves), fairly tall, pretty, and can be persuasive. Around 20-30 dollars will get you a several song dance in the privacy of a small nook near the entrance, decked out with leather and no doubt the nicest part of the club.
In all, I highly recommend checking this place out at least once. You'll get your money's worth if you want to. The small size of the club and the staff may not keep you there all night, but you won't have to feel you wasted your time, as it's located right in the middle of countless bars and other nightlife.
