Ok...so last Thursday night, I am in Phoenix on business and I wanted to go out. Everyone wanted to go to a regular club but you know me better than that :) So I hope in the mustang and buzz up AR-51 to north Phoenix and the candy store. Now, I haven't heard a lot of great things about this club. But one thing I did hear, and the reason why I wanted to go on Thursday (as opposed to Fri/Sat which I reserved for the "primo" clubs) was that...The lap dances are $5.

So I arrive after some small difficulty with directions. You have to get good directions before you head up there because every corner in North Phoenix seems to have a stop light and a WalGreens on the corner *shrug*. Once there, I turn in and the parking lot is full of glass. Not a good sign. I park way out from the club. There is LOTs of parking if you don't mind parking on glass. But the lot doesn't fill you with confidence, it is dark and doesn't "feel" safe. Still, I am a big guy, so I am ok. And let's not forget....The lap dances are $5.

I head up to the club and I can already see that this is gonna be one of THOSE clubs. I prefer the upscale, high class, pretentious club to the down-and-dirty, rough-and-tumble types. Well, as I approached, I watch a bunch of guys getting loud and rowdy in the lot in front of the door and I knew this would be one of the latter. I walked in the propped open door (gotta love Phoenix in winter) and the cover charge girl/bartender is immediately to your left. She charged me to get in (I *THINK* $5) and sold me a beer ($4.50) before I was in the door good. I found this a bit tacky but...The lap dances are $5.
