Went to NY Dolls on a Friday night to relax after a stressful week, not my first time here. The place seemed to be a little crowdier and noisier than usual but it's typically not a problem to find a place to sit. Right at the entrance there's an area with a bar and two girls are dancing there in bikinis, i'm not quite sure why that area even exists. As you go past it there's a pretty small but cozy area with dim lightning, couches alongside walls and a small stage with 4 poles, with two topless girls dancing at a time. When I say the stage is small i mean it, there's literally no room of any kind to do any actual dancing so the girls mostly just hang around the poles trying not to fall down. If you're into any kind of meaningful pole dancing, you won't find it here. Drinks are expensive-ish, 13 for a beer and up from there. Lap dances are 20. Girls are for the most part from Eastern Europe, but there's good variety and almost always a few really hot girls stand out. They may be quite aggressive but will typically go away w/o pestering you if you let them know you're not interested in a dance. The only problem being of course that you would have to tell it once to every girl personally. Dance quality itself varies greatly, as does hand freedom, some girls don't mind touching and some do. Champagne room was quoted to me at $650, never go there so can't comment. Overall a pleasant experience and although there are no truly great standout features I somewhat often find myself coming back.
