I was in Atlanta last week...

I was in Atlanta last week and although I had limited time I did manage to get to the Follies on Friday afternoon about 2:00. The club was starting to fill up at that time but I did manage to get one of the wall seats. There was no cover charge and drink prices are about $5 for beer or well drinks. There is also a lunch buffet daily for a reasonable price and a free happy hour buffet. The food is actually pretty good for a bar buffet.

There were about 20 dancers when I arrived. The quality of dancers on this trip was slightly less than on my previous visits. Although the average was about the same, this time there were hardly any that I would classify as drop-dead gorgeous, where there have always been a few of these on previous trips. I had several dances but never made it to a private room. A trip to the private room will set you back close to $150, and it takes a dancer that I really like to spend that in a single session. Most times I'd rather just have 2 dances at a time for $10 each and and try several dancers over the course of my time there. The lady I enjoyed talking to the most said she was a student at Georgia State and was dancing to pay her way through school.

The Follies remains one of my favorite all time place, and I'll be returning there on my next Atlanta trip in a few weeks.
