After a few visits earlier this month, Lido's is quickly becoming my new favorite place on the Space Coast. Of the area clubs I've visited, Lido's definitely has the best looking girls. Cheaters used to be on par with Lido's, but that is no longer the case. Recently I recognized at least two of the girls in Lido's from previous visits to Cheaters. Maybe they've hired away their most attractive dancers.

All of my recent visits have been on weekdays after 9PM. One night I almost closed the place after walking in at 930PM, and it's rare for me to be in a club that long these days. I was having that good a time. Some nights were crowded, others not, and it's almost unpredictable. One Tuesday was crowded at midnight; on a Wednesday at the same time it was dead.

The entrance to the club is around the left side from the street. I've never been charged more than $5 for cover and a beer is $4.75. Walking in, you'll see the bar which wraps around most of the center of the smallish building, with the stages on the other side of the bar. There are two narrow stages on a diagonal which somehow remind me of the slanted landing decks on aircraft carriers. Dancers usually do a couple songs on the main stage and then move to the smaller one. There are a lot of tables and chairs in the stage area, so when it's crowded, circulation gets to be a problem. The lap dance "room" is actually a narrow aisle to the left of the bar as you walk in. I don't care of this arrangement, since if it's crowded you are facing another couple, and they are practically on top of you. There is also a half wall to the lap dance room so you can look into it from the bar, so that's another minus. The dances ($20 per song) are full two-way contact on anything uncovered, but don't expect a lot of extras given the lack of privacy. I took the first dance special (2 for $25 with a shot that I gave the dancer) I was offered but avoided them after that, since it becomes a zoo in the dance room. If you want to have a drink with a dancer and talk a little, the back bar area, as far away from the stages as you can get, works well.
