Gold Cup is still one of...

Gold Cup is still one of my favorite clubs in Houston. You can find dancers who are 8-10 in terms of looks, as well as some 6's (but that's not a bad thing, since the more average looking girls will spend more time and not hustle usually). It's located about four miles West on 290 just past 610 loop. It's right off 290 so the area is fairly safe to drive through, and there are parking lot attendants as well (valet as well as self-park). Entrance fee at night is $10, and there's the usual metal detector. Oh, and an interesting feature is that they have a poker/blackjack table that is open on some nights.

Dancers - ethnicity is about 70% white, 20% hispanic, maybe 10% asian/black/other. Quality is below Treasures and St. James, but generally pretty good. Girls will typically spend more time with you here, and the sharks are rare (but of course there are a few). In general though, you won't find too many plastic doll dancers who think they're too pretty to approach you.

Drinks - the drinks are in the $7 to $9 range, so much less than Treasures and Colorado Club... and they have specials on specific drinks from Tuesday through Thursday (specials are like $5) - ask for the specials though, 'cause the waitresses ain't too eager to tell you about them!
