Ladies en Confidante is a sort of erotic diversion for people who consider money no object, and are sexually desperate enough to drop $150 or so for the privilege of - well, perhaps spanking your monkey. Yes, you're correct - you will possibly drop more than $150 at a strip club. But you can have quite a good time all night long at a strip club, and if you're patient and get to know the girls and aren't a jerk, you might even get to hook up after awhile. The rooms are sort of Vegas-glitzy with a stripper pole and mirrors and a TV, broadcasting a constant stream of the erotic action you are NOT going to get. The gal I went back in the room with was pretty hot, but very business-like, as was the whole experience. And if you're strapped for cash, you can shell out just $90 for a lousy 20 minutes! Trouble is, I don't usually have to pay anything to spank my monkey. What you get at a good strip club that you don't get here is FUN. As with a lap dance, you can touch your dancer, just not anyplace interesting. Of course there's lots of similar hustles around Denver, where you will part with a lot of money to be disappointed and have your sexual weakness exploited. But hey, if you've got money to burn and still aren't able to find any real action, here's an easy alternative with no cover charge and no drink minimum. Personally, as I left, I could've really used a drink, because it didn't make me feel too great to realize I was just another fish caught in the net, another sucker willing to shell out a lot of money just for something that's kinda-sorta-vaguely like an erotic encounter with a young woman. Maybe you feel good knowing that you are making a generous donation of your hard-earned wages to some nudie cutie that makes more in 2 hours than most of us do all day. Here's the bottom line. For $40 or so, which is what they should be charging, I'd probably pop in and do this from time to time just for a little thrill. But as long as there's desperate men willing to shell out $150 for an hour at places like Ladies en Confidante, there will be hustlers who'll be glad to take their money. Obviously, there's enough suckers out there to keep them in business. I'm just not going to be one of them.
