Gold Club is the standard for what a Gentleman’s club is suppose to be - classy, good lucking women, and great friendly service. The Gold Club is located in a nicer part of downtown San Francisco near Moscone Center Convention Center so it definitely caters to out-of-towners coming in for a convention or tourists wanting to enjoy a great time. The only pet peeve is there is no parking structure associated with this club, only street parking so it could be an inconvenience for you arriving by car. Valet parking and limo service is available however so that is always an option. Came in on a Saturday night and was greeted by very friendly security people. As soon as you enter the club, you pay a twenty dollar cover charge. A security guard will then give you the lay out of club and escort you to your place of preference. I was escorted to a reserved table next to the main stage. I noticed the club itself wasn’t all that big as it consisted of the main room and a bar area to the side of the main stage. However, it’s divided into two levels, the first level are for regular patrons and the top level are for VIPs dance rooms and VIP guests which you have to pay extra to gain access. The main stage has one pole in the middle of the room with fancy stage lighting that gives it a nice strobe effect during dances and the occasional fog machine that blows out some well timed smoky effects. There are two other stages to the left and right of the main stage. One is a staging area for dancers who will be arriving to the main stage to do their dances. The music and the ambiance was rocking and people seemed to be having a great time as the DJ and to a greater extent , the alcohol, would keep the good mood flowing throughout the night. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and watched a parade of dancers do their thing. Food seems expensive which I guess is par for the course for eating in a posh club. Once I was done with my sandwich I headed over to the bar to the right of the main stage. The club was so busy that the patrons outnumbered the dancers and so getting a dancer’s attention was really difficult. Finally I was able to get the attention of a few dancers but I really hit it off with Ivana, a short petite blond Russian lady. She and I had a long conversation and eventually the talk of a more private dance came up. It was $20 for a short on the floor dance; $60 for a private 2 dance; $100 for private 3 songs; or $350 for a half hour VIP. Based on those options, I opted for a $100 3 song deal. The private room wasn’t all that private as it was out in the open with other dancers and patrons, nor was it big as it was only the size of a small bedroom. It was crowded and cramped with other patrons and dancers so I managed to squeeze into one of the open spots. Fortunately, my dancer gave me a slow sensual grind that really made it worth every penny with lots or kissing and groping involved. The only downer was that all lap dances are not nude or topless which may turn off some hardcore strip club goers, but all in all a fun time. One of the classiest and fun gentlemen’s clubs in San Francisco, and I would definitely come back for more fun.
