This was my first time at a strip club - ever - and the Barely Legal Club got me hooked. I decided to drop in after wandering around Bourbon Street the Friday before Mardi Gras, post parades. I was initially shocked by the 25$ cover, but I'm thinking that may have been high because of the time of year.

The club feels small and intimate, although I never felt crowded or uncomfortable even though it was packed. There is a full bar to the right once you enter. A cute, super small waitress immediately approached me to take my order. Being my first time, I was nervous and told that to the waitress - she took the time to help me over to a very comfortable bench against one of the walls looking towards the main stage. In front of me, and around the two poled stage are small chairs and tables. There is a partition that separates the room into two with a much smaller stage on the other half with another bar.

I was quickly approached by a black girl who wasn't my type. Soon after that a pretty brunette (a solid 8), about 5'8 started chatting me up. I was there looking for a private dance so I was upfront about it. After I finished watching a gorgeous Asian girl on stage my brunette brought me on the elevator upstairs the VIP floor. Her and a manager (I guess that's what he was) showed me the VIP rooms - starting price at 1k for an hour (includes champagne). I was upfront about what I wanted and what I was willing to spend so I got a less private VIP room for 280$/half hour (still had a textured glass sliding door, like a shower door).
