I hadn't been to George's in...

I hadn't been to George's in probably a year or so. The last few times I went they were having 2 dancers on weeknights and 3 on weekends and all were atleast 40lbs. overweight if not more. I drove by on a saturday night around 10pm and noticed quite a few cars in the lot across the street as well as in front. Atleast noticably more than usual. So I decided to give it another shot.

It turns out George's is now a karaoke bar on weekends. They had the volume turned up high and the singing was awful. They still have 4 dancers there but the quality has not improved. I had my 1 beer and GTFO of there.

Granted it does seem to be working for business as it was more packed than I've ever seen it in years. The last few times I was there you could count the number of patrons there on probably one hand. So good for them if they found a niche but I won't be headed back there.
